Description
This chocolate pistachio bar is rich, crunchy, and surprisingly easy to make with just a few simple ingredients. Perfect for gifting or snacking.
Ingredients
200g dark chocolate (70%)
100g roasted salted pistachios
1/2 tsp flaky sea salt (optional)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
1. Chop your chocolate into small, even pieces and place in a heatproof bowl.
2. Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or in the microwave in 20-second bursts, stirring each time.
3. Stir in vanilla extract, if using, and fold in most of the chopped pistachios.
4. Line a loaf pan or small baking tray with parchment paper.
5. Pour the chocolate mixture into the pan and spread evenly.
6. Sprinkle the reserved pistachios and sea salt on top.
7. Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours until set.
8. Slice or break into bars and serve.
Notes
Use dairy-free chocolate to make it vegan.
Add dried cranberries or orange zest for flavor variation.
Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
